· Day Guide ·

What you should know.

If you're reading this, your seat is held and we're officially gathering. This guide is here so you can arrive on tour day already feeling settled.

· The essentials ·

Where and when.

Where we meetThe Reiki Shop · 2781 Clayton Rd, Concord, CA 94520

WhenArrive between 9:30 and 9:50 AM. We depart at 10:10 AM.

ReturnAround 5:00 PM, back at The Reiki Shop.

ParkingStreet parking is free on weekends in downtown Concord. Give yourself an extra 10 minutes to find a spot and walk over.

· What to bring ·

Pack light.

  • A tote or small bag for your crystal finds
  • A sweater or layer (the Bay microclimates will do their thing)
  • $15 to 22 cash or card for lunch
  • Cash is helpful in a few of the shops (not required, but appreciated by small owners)
  • Your journal if you keep one
  • An open heart and whatever's on your mind

I provide snacks and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day, so you're covered on that front.

What NOT to bring: anything you can't carry comfortably all day. We walk between shops, we sit, we stand, we browse. Pack light.

· What to wear ·

Dress for comfort.

Soft shoes you can walk a few blocks in. Layers you can peel off. If we're in rainy season, add a light jacket or hat. We'll be in and out of the van, in and out of shops, in and out of the Bay's many moods.

· The flow of the day ·

Our rhythm, roughly.

10:10 AM
DepartFrom Concord. Opening grounding in the van as we drive.
10:40 — 12:30
First two shopsWe'll move with intention, not rushing. You'll have time to browse, ask questions, find what finds you.
12:30 — 1:30
Lunch stopWe break bread together while supporting a local restaurant. Dietary needs you shared on your booking are already noted.
1:30 — 4:00
Three more shopsEach one is different and curated with care. You'll be guided through at a pace that honors both the day and the energy of the group.
4:00 PM
Closing meditationBack to The Reiki Shop for closing meditation and tea. This is the softest part of the day. You'll leave with a crystal of your own and, hopefully, a quieter nervous system than you came in with.
5:00 PM
Hugs and farewellsAnd, if you want, a group photo.
· How we move ·

Flow where you are called.

  • No pressure to buy. The experience is enough. You are not obligated to purchase anything at any stop.
  • Respect the space. Each shop is someone's livelihood and sanctuary. Move gently.
  • Flow where you are called. If something draws you in, follow it. If nothing does, that's okay too.
  • Please stay with the group. We move together so no one is left behind.
  • Participate at your own pace. Some stops may offer cleansings or readings. There is no pressure to participate in any of them.
· About the crystals ·

What you'll bring home.

If nothing speaks to you at a given shop, that's information too. Some days are gathering days, some days are noticing days.

Each shop takes cards. A few also take cash. If something feels like it has to come home with you, it probably does.

· Weather & timing ·

Bay Area weather is a vibe.

Here's what we plan around:

  • Fog: Oakland and Berkeley often start grey, clear by 11 AM.
  • Heat: Concord gets warmer than the city. Dress in layers.
  • Rain: We tour rain or shine. Umbrellas live in the van just in case.

If anything about the weather dramatically changes the day's plan, you'll hear from me the morning of.

· A few more things ·

Good to know.

Who it's for: This is an 18+ event.

Pets: Please leave your fur babies at home.

Dietary needs: I noted what you shared on your booking. Lunch spot is chosen with everyone's needs in mind.

Mobility: Most shops are street-level. One has a small step. If this matters for you, text me ahead of time and I'll make sure we have what we need.

Energy: Some guests leave feeling expanded. Some leave feeling tender. Both are right. Make space for yourself the next day if you can.
